FIFO Boxhole Driller – Epiroc Easer L

About the role

As lead operator of the Epiroc Easer L, you will set the standard for our delivery. Working a 2/2 FIFO roster from any Australian or New Zealand capital city, you will lead the drilling program in the field with a high degree of ownership, working hand-in-glove with our fitter and client leadership to deliver to plan.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and demobilise the Epiroc Easer L to the drill plan, with precision and care
• Manage the complete boring cycle - collaring, drilling, rod handling and reaming - to a high standard
• Conduct pre-starts, in-shift checks and routine maintenance in partnership with the site fitter
• Monitor machine performance and ground conditions, adjusting technique to protect accuracy and safety
• Maintain accurate shift records, production data and reporting that inform program decisions
• Set the example for safe systems of work, isolations and ground-support compliance

About you

• Demonstrated, hands-on experience operating the Epiroc Easer L (essential)
• A strong background in boxhole boring, raisebore or raise drilling
• Thorough command of drill string and rod handling and the full boring cycle
• Mechanical aptitude and a methodical, plan-driven approach to the work
• Underground experience and relevant tickets, well regarded
• The capacity to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Right to work in Australia
