Final Checker

The Final Checker is responsible for inspecting finished tiles before packing and shipment to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. The position involves checking the tiles for defects, dimensions, appearance, color consistency, and proper packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct final inspection of finished tiles before packing and dispatch.
• Check tiles for visible defects such as cracks, chips, scratches, pinholes, warping, uneven surfaces, and color variations.
• Verify tile dimensions, thickness, flatness, and other required specifications.
• Check the consistency of tile shade, pattern, finish, and overall appearance.
• Separate and properly identify defective or non-conforming products.
• Ensure that only approved and quality-compliant tiles proceed to packing.
• Monitor proper labeling, quantity, product codes, batch numbers, and other required markings.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality Control teams regarding quality issues.
• Record inspection results and report recurring defects or quality concerns.
• Follow company quality standards, inspection procedures, and safety policies.
• Assist in identifying possible causes of defects and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area.
• Perform other duties related to quality inspection as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or vocational/technical course graduate; college graduate is an advantage.
• Experience in quality control, production inspection, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in a tile, ceramics, construction materials, or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Keen attention to detail and good visual inspection skills.
• Able to identify product defects and distinguish acceptable from non-acceptable products.
• Physically fit and willing to work in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Team player with good communication and reporting skills.
