Final Test Operation Section Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Production & Test Operations: Manage daily floor testing activities, ensuring seamless lot tracking, test program releases, and hardware troubleshooting with internal factories and OSATs (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test)
• Yield & OEE Optimization: Monitor and drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), test time, yield rates, and reduce retests to maximize gross margins.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Coordinate Final Test readiness and smooth transfers from engineering/development stages to High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Capacity & Hardware Management: Align with supply chain teams to forecast capacity, procure hardware (testers, handlers, change-kits), and execute capacity expansions to meet production demands.

Education Level and Field of Study:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Working Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in Operations management or a leadership role.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Familiar with test processes / equipment operations/ planning concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving ability (8D, Why-Why Analysis, Process & Manufacturing challenges)
• Strong communication capabilities to align cross-functional teams, resolve workplace or supplier friction smoothly, and foster a positive collaborative culture.

Certification/ Licensing Requirements:

• Certifications like Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) are highly desired in manufacturing test environments for driving process improvements and yield optimization.
