Final Trim Posi/Bobcat Operator

Civil & Demo are seeking experienced Final Trim Bobcat / Posi Operators to join our professional Perth Metro-based team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator who can not only operate machinery to a high standard, but who has initiative, able to work with the team, read plans, understand levels, and help to deliver projects successfully**.**

The successful applicant will initially work alongside our experienced team, with the opportunity to receive additional training as they progress.

We carry out a diverse and challenging range of civil, earthmoving and demolition projects across the Perth Metro area, including commercial, residential and large-scale developments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate Bobcat / Posi Track machinery to a high standard, including final trim and detailed earthworks

• Carry out bulk and detailed earthworks

• Read and interpret plans, site drawings and levels

• Use laser levels and assist with site set-out

• Set and final trim accurately to level

• Work across commercial, residential and high-end residential projects

• Undertake earthworks for car parks, unit developments and apartment developments

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years' experience in commercial earthworks, civil or road construction

• 1 + years' experience operating final trim Bobcat / Posi Track machinery

• Strong final trim and detailed earthworks experience

• The ability to confidently read and interpret plans

• Experience using laser levels and carrying out site set-out

• A good understanding of levels, grades and site requirements

• The ability to work independently and use initiative

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A strong work ethic and pride in producing quality work

The following experience and tickets are highly regarded:

• HR B or unrestricted licence or above
• Excavator
• Front End Loader
• Roller
• Posi Track
• Relevant plant and machinery VOCs / competencies

A current White Card and relevant certificates of competency are required.

The successful applicant must also be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and have unrestricted Australian working rights.
