We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic final year law student to join our Dust Disease department Maroochydore team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student in the final year of their law studies who is looking to gain valuable practical experience and commence their legal career in a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role

Working closely with an extensively experienced Partner, you will gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters and have the opportunity to develop your legal skills through hands on experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting a Partner with file management and case preparation;
• Legal research and drafting correspondence;
• Preparing court and tribunal documents;
• Liaising with clients, experts and other stakeholders;
• Attending client appointments and conferences;
• Supporting the team with administrative and legal tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be currently completing the final year of a Bachelor of Laws degree;
• Be intending to seek admission as a legal practitioner upon completion of your studies;
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrate attention to detail and sound organisational skills;
• Possess strong time management abilities;
• Be proactive, professional and eager to learn;
• Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term legal career.
