Finance Accountant（Mandarin）

About the Role

Join PopJoy (a designer toy brand under IGG) as a Finance Accountant (Mandarin Speaker) and play a key role in supporting our global growth from Pasig City, Metro Manila! In this role, you will lead day-to-day accounting, manage local tax and regulatory compliance, and oversee financial operations for our vibrant pop culture and interactive entertainment portfolio. We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven finance professional to ensure high-impact financial clarity and support our business expansion.

Responsibilities & Duties

(1) Bookkeeping: Prepare accounting vouchers, and complete timely system data entry and monthly accounting close..

(2) Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local regulations.

(3) Daily Operations: Review expenditure documents and contracts form finance perspective, supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and fix assets.

(4) Tax & Compliance: Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.

(5) Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing financial analysis reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

(1) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. CPA/ACCA certification is highly preferred.

(2) Experience: 3+ years of financial experience, specifically within the Retail or FMCG industry.

(3) Software Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), financial software and advanced Excel skills.

(4) Language Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills in Mandarin.

(5) Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and the ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.
