Finance, Accounting & Tax Senior Manager

About the role

Lead and oversee the overall Finance, Accounting & Tax function and ensure alignment with the Company's business strategy and objectives. This senior leadership position requires developing and executing financial strategies, policies, and frameworks to support business growth and long-term financial sustainability in the property development and real estate industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting & Tax, with solid experience in a senior leadership position
• Proven experience in property development / real estate industry
• Strong understanding of financial management, accounting, taxation, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
• Experienced in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, systems, and internal controls
• Strong understanding of property development business processes, including project financial management, budgeting, cost control, and project profitability
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a Finance, Accounting & Tax team
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with Management, Business Units, and external parties
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the overall Finance, Accounting & Tax function and ensure alignment with the Company's business strategy and objectives
• Develop and execute financial strategies, policies, and frameworks to support business growth and long-term financial sustainability
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, funding, and financial performance of the Company and its projects
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, accounting practices, and management reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and risk management, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and minimizing tax exposure
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and risk management across the organization
• Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to Management, including business performance, project profitability, investment decisions, and financial risks
• Lead and develop the Finance, Accounting & Tax team, ensuring strong performance, accountability, and continuous capability development
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation regulations, Company policies, and corporate governance requirements
• Lead and coordinate relationships with auditors, tax consultants, banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders
