Finance Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Accounting professional to join PT The Paralian Uluwatu on a contract basis, based in Badung, Bali. This role is fundamental to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. As Finance Accounting specialist, you will play a crucial part in supporting the financial health and transparency of our organisation, providing essential financial information to stakeholders and management for informed decision-making.

What you'll be doing

• Recording, classifying and posting daily financial transactions to the general ledger
• Reconciling ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with accounting principles and standards
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Preparing journal entries and adjusting entries as required
• Supporting internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Identifying and resolving accounting errors and variances
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintaining organised financial documentation and filing systems

What we're looking for

• Qualifications in accounting, finance or a related discipline
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards (IFRS or local GAAP)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in financial statement preparation is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Indonesian accounting regulations and tax requirements is preferred
• Proficiency in both English and Indonesian languages
