FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Our client is looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead its finance and accounting function in Indonesia. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with a strong background in B2B trading or distribution businesses, particularly those involving inventory and import activities, and experience working with multinational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, inventory, fixed assets, treasury, and procurement-related processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee corporate tax matters, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding taxes, and coordinate with external tax consultants where necessary.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, banking partners, and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other ad-hoc finance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 5 years in an Accounting Manager or equivalent managerial role.
• Prior experience in a B2B trading, distribution, or inventory-based company in Indonesia is required.
• Exposure to import activities and related financial processes is highly preferred.
• Experience working with regional offices or HQ, including group reporting and intercompany coordination.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
