Finance / Accounts Executive

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Finance / Accounts Executive to join our team and support the company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing and assisting with audit and tax-related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance operations
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare invoices, payment documents and accounting records
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist with journal entries and General Ledger maintenance
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with GST submissions and tax-related documentation
• Prepare documents and schedules for audit purposes
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Experience in AP, AR and bank reconciliation
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good written and spoken English
