Finance Administration Officer

About the role

This role involves finance administration and transactional processing across multiple systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HIVE. You will manage debtor offsetting, bank reconciliation, and tradesmen invoice processing, working directly with the Australian finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and offset customer receipts against invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Process offsets to clear residual debtor balances where payments have been received before invoices are raised
• Review outstanding debtor listings and identify accounts requiring follow-up
• Escalate exceptions that cannot be cleared through normal processing
• Manage approximately 110 debtor accounts per week
• Complete daily bank reconciliations within Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Match and offset transactions against corresponding bank transactions
• Investigate unmatched or unidentified transactions and escalate issues for resolution
• Enter tradesmen invoice details into customer order profiles in HIVE
• Process approved tradesmen invoices in preparation for payment

About you

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and transactional finance processing
• Experience working with customised or configured business systems and following established workflows
• Background in finance administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling repetitive and high-volume transactions
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Confidence communicating with finance team members to clarify discrepancies and escalate issues when required
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented
• Organised and consistent when handling high-volume transactions
• Comfortable working across multiple systems
• Proactive in identifying and escalating discrepancies
