Finance Administrator

About the role

Responsible for managing Abrolhos Steel's day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Process customer invoices, credits, supplier invoices and payments.
• Investigate and resolve customer, supplier and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer, supplier and financial records.
• Set up new customer accounts and process credit applications and trade references.
• Manage account enquiries and communications with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain shared email accounts.
• Assist with purchasing and account requirements.
• Assist with month-end processing and general financial administration.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

About you

• Strong administrative experiance required
• Experience in a similar accounts or finance role.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage expectations.
• Ability to switch tasks comfortably.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
• Good computer literacy, including accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, professional and "can do" attitude.
