Finance Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join the Finance team for an exciting project! In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end invoice processing, order creation, cost transfers, and project budget allocations.

This is a high-volume, time-critical position where you will work closely alongside internal teams to meet tight deadlines and fulfill contractual obligations for the client.

Role details:

• Location: The Terrace, Wellington
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours
• Pay Rate: $30/hr + 8% holiday pay
• Contract: 6-month assignment, potential to extend
• Start date: As early as Monday 21st September

Key Responsibilities:

• High-volume invoice and purchase order processing
• Executing cost transfers and updating project budget allocations
• Delivering accurate financial administration support under strict deadlines
• Collaborating with internal delivery teams to resolve queries quickly

Key Requirements:

• Must have a background in finance administration/invoice processing
• Demonstrated experience in a high-volume, fast-paced finance or administration role
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and hit tight deadlines
• Strong multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
