Finance Analyst (8 months contract)

The Company

Our client, an MNC in the FMCG industry, is looking to hire a Finance Analyst on an 8-months contract.

The Role

You will support business performance through financial analysis, forecasting, trade investment tracking, and process improvement initiatives. Working closely with Finance, S&OP, Marketing and Commercial Excellence teams, you will provide insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards and business performance packs by consolidating data from multiple systems.
• Support forecasting and budgeting activities, including data validation, analysis and updates within planning tools.
• Maintain and update business scorecards and performance tracking reports.
• Assist in trade investment reporting, monitoring spend and providing relevant insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and support business planning activities.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and ad-hoc projects as required.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate is Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with relevant experience in an FMCG or similar fast-paced commercial environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data to support business decision-making. You are highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, and can work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a culturally sensitive approach, attention to detail, agility, resilience, and a strong drive to achieve results.
