Finance Analyst – Business Control

Job Summary:

• Basic Salary: $4000 - $5800
• Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Working Location: Tuas Avenue
• Performance Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly journals and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
• Prepare and analyse monthly Selling & Administrative (S&A) expenses.
• Monitor expenses against budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and highlight financial risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting.

Credit Control & Risk Management

• Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend credit terms and limits.
• Monitor overdue accounts and identify potential payment risks.
• Recommend actions to improve collections, cash flow and minimise business risks.

Accounting, Audit & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Coordinate with Finance, internal/external auditors and business teams.
• Manage audit requests and follow up on findings.

Systems & Business Support

• Support/lead financial system implementation and interface projects.
• Review staff claims and business expenses and highlight discrepancies.
• Handle operational administration, procurement, insurance and other business support matters.
• Support the Business Controller with ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Certified Accountant, Degree in Accounting/Finance, or finalist in a recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACCA.
• 4–6 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within an MNC environment.
• Prior audit experience will be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiar with SAP accounting systems.
