Finance Analyst

The Finance Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and providing insights that support strategic business decisions. The role involves financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate financial reports for management.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and identify variances.
• Conduct cost and profitability analyses to support business decisions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop financial models and projections to support operational and strategic planning.
• Assist in cash flow monitoring and financial performance analysis.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
• Collaborate with the Accounting, Procurement, and Operations teams to gather financial information.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the required financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or financial planning. Fresh graduates with strong academic performance may also be considered for entry-level positions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the construction, engineering, renewable energy, or solar industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with financial statements, cash flow analysis, and key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
• CPA designation is an advantage but not required.
