Finance Analyst

A leading life insurance company is hiring a Finance Analyst to support system enhancement projects, financial reporting, data analysis and month-end processes within the Finance & Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Support Finance system enhancement and transformation projects, including enhancement follow-up, UAT preparation, test evidence documentation, issue tracking and SAP upgrade project support
• Assist in tracking reporting changes and reconciliation items, including data checking, movement analysis and preparation of supporting schedules
• Prepare finance data analysis and recurring management reports
• Structure and analyse large finance datasets to support system testing, reconciliation, exception analysis and management review
• Support financial and operational analysis
• Provide ad-hoc support on finance projects and process improvement initiatives as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Qualified or candidate of HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on reporting, data analysis, system enhancement, UAT or project support
• Experience from banking or insurance background is welcome
• Strong Excel skills; hands-on experience in Power BI or Python is an advantage
• Experience in SAP, UAT, finance transformation or reporting automation projects is an advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills
