Finance Analyst Contract

ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE
Our client is a large, well-established NFP organisation seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team on a four-month contract.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll become part of a high-performing commercial finance team, partnering with operational leaders to provide meaningful financial analysis, budgeting support and commercial insights. This is a hands-on analytical role where you'll spend as much time understanding the drivers behind the numbers as you will reporting on them.
You'll be joining the business during a period of transformation, making this an excellent opportunity to contribute from day one and work alongside an experienced FP&A team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver monthly management reporting and variance analysis
• Build financial models and forecasting tools
• Analyse operational performance and key business drivers
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide commercial insights
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Analyse labour costs, payroll trends and operational metrics
• Assist with revenue analysis and funding performance
• Drive reporting improvements and process efficiencies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Power BI, Power Query or Business Central exposure will be highly regarded
