Finance Analyst - Entry Level

Role Overview: The Finance Analyst supports the Accounting department by assisting with forecasting, budgeting, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing, and operational tasks within the units supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily credit control procedures to minimize overdue and bad debts.
• Supervise customer accounts regularly to ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Process and resolve customer account queries and issues such as invoices and statements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments on credit control activities.
• Post and allocate receipts accurately and promptly.
• Balance all accounts monthly and maintain high standards of documentation.
• Prepare periodic analyses of outstanding debts and report issues to the AR Manager.
• Evaluate and enforce policies related to credit control.
• Address unresolved issues proactively and perform ad hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• 0-2 years of experience in a service industry with a system-driven approach to credit control.
• Bachelor’s degree required, with relevant financial qualifications preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Oracle is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, and excellent phone manner.
