Finance & Account Executive

Key responsibilities

• Handle finance transactions, including receivables, payables, receipts, payments, bank and creditors' reconciliations
• Manage the full accounts payable process for suppliers and subcontractors in compliance with accounting standards, GST regulations and Group internal controls
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of project costing and management accounts
• Update daily bank records and prepare financial reports
• Assist in problem-solving and improvements of SOP
• Liaise with external parties including suppliers, subcontractors, bankers and auditors
• Support other finance-related matters and ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Preferably 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience in construction sector
• Hands-on experience in accounting and finance functions with good problem-solving skills
• Familiar with accounting standards, taxation, GST and relevant regulations
• Proficient in MS Office and XERO Accounting Software
• Positive attitude with good team spirit
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work flexible hours during peak periods and meet tight deadlines
• Salary commensurate based on relevant working experience
