- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations between internal systems, bank statements, and accounting records.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system (Bukku).
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, settlement issues, and reconciliation variances in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Operations, Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to resolve merchant payment and settlement-related matters.
- Prepare merchant settlement reports, accounts receivable ageing reports, reconciliation reports, and other finance-related reports as required.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring accounts receivable records are complete and up to date.
- Assist with full set accounting activities and other finance-related tasks whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide backup support to other Finance team members when required.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable, Merchant Settlement, or a related role.
- Experience in full set accounting is highly preferred.
- Experience handling merchant settlements, payment collections, account reconciliations, and customer account follow-ups will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as Bukku or similar accounting software is preferred.
