Finance and Accounting Assistant Manager

About the role

Finance and Accounting Assistant Manager responsible for managing financial operations, accounting activities, and strategic financial planning to support organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts, financial reports, and planning process to support the development of operational goals
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Create accurate financial statements and manage full spectrum of finance and accounting activities
• Analyze, evaluate, and investigate financial statements, reports, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate policy
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement from financial perspective and monitor financial metrics
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and reports, cost control analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control
• Cash flow management to keep a healthy financial condition

About you

• At least 7 years of experience in finance and accounting area
• Strong comprehension at PSAK, the theory as well as the implementation
• Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles
• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in handling holding company with many subsidiaries
• Experience in handling merger and acquisition as well as handling company that is heading for IPO
• Working experience at public accountant firm would be a plus point
