What they need
🌟 Join Our Team — Accounting Specialist | Aurora Medical Spa
About Aurora Medical Spa
Aurora Medical Spa was founded in 2006 and is celebrating 20 years of dedicated service in aesthetic skincare and body contouring. We have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results through a team of highly trained professionals.
Today, Aurora is a fast-growing, multi-location company entering its next phase of growth. We are not focused on maintaining what exists — we are focused on building what comes next . As we scale, we are investing in better systems, smarter reporting, and more efficient ways of operating across all locations — including how we use data, technology, and AI to move faster and more effectively.
If you prefer highly structured, slow-moving environments — this likely isn't the right fit. If you enjoy solving problems, improving systems, and moving quickly while maintaining accuracy — you will do well here.
📌 The Role
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist who can help us scale how our finance function operates. Strong accounting fundamentals are required. Attention to detail is non-negotiable. But this role is equally about mindset.
You are someone who:
Takes Ownership — You follow things through without needing to be closely managed
Moves Quickly — You adapt as priorities shift without losing accuracy
Builds Better — You actively look for more efficient ways to get things done
Embraces Technology — You use tools, systems, and AI to reduce manual work and improve output
Challenges the Status Quo — You're comfortable questioning outdated processes and improving them
Thinks at Scale — You want to improve and grow systems, not just maintain them

Post journal entries and support month-end close

Financial Accuracy & Oversight

Build and maintain sales and financial reporting for leadership
Track intercompany activity, gift cards, and promotional liabilities
Process Improvement & Scaling
Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and improve them
Use Excel, systems, and AI tools to automate and streamline reporting
Support financial and operational improvement projects
Help evolve how we use data to drive faster, better decisions
Additional Responsibilities
Support 401K funding and internal compensation reporting
Track fixed assets, insurance schedules, and inventory performance
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
