Finance and Accounting Executive

The Finance and Accounting Executive will be managing the daily operational finance activities, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and keeping our daily numbers running smoothly.

You will own our day-to-day accounting workflows while helping us look ahead with smart budgeting and forecasting.

What you'll be doing:

The Daily Accounting Work

• Keep Books Balanced: Manage the general ledger, handle daily entries, and make our month-end closing process stress-free.
• Handle Cash Flows: Own the invoicing process, make sure clients pay us on time, and ensure our vendors get paid smoothly.
• Reconcile Accounts: Check bank accounts and credit cards daily to make sure every cent is exactly where it should be.
• Tax & Compliance: Help us prep tax filings and stay on the right side of financial regulations without any last-minute scrambles.

The Forward-Looking Finance Work

• Build Reports: Put together our monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements so the team knows exactly how we are performing.
• Watch the Budget: Track what we planned to spend versus what we actually spent, and wave a flag if we are going off-course.
• Manage Runway: Monitor our cash levels closely to help us plan next month's investments and operational spending.

What we are looking for:

Your Background

• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. If you are working toward your CPA or ACCA, that is a huge bonus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting team. You know your way around a corporate balance sheet.

Your Tech Stack

• Software: Experience with cloud accounting tools like SQL, QuickBooks or Xero, or bigger systems like SAP and NetSuite.
• Excel Skills: You are genuinely good at Excel. Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and organizing messy data do not scare you.

Your Superpowers

• Eagle-Eyed Accuracy: You catch typos, double-billings, and math errors before anyone else notices them.
• Deadline Champion: Month-end closing waits for no one. You know how to prioritize your time to get things done without panicking.
• Trustworthy: You will handle sensitive salary and company data daily, so absolute discretion is non-negotiable.
