Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, employee reimbursements, treasury, and utility-related payments.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounting activities are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Prepare and analyze budgets, cash flow forecasts, revenue and expenditure variances, and provide insights to support management decision-making.
• Ensure all business transactions and financial records are accurately maintained and reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable accounting standards.
• Review and monitor daily and routine accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including following up on outstanding balances and ensuring timely collections and payments to minimize financial risks and losses.
• Manage tax-related matters, including the preparation and submission of tax returns and other required reports to relevant government authorities.
• Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure a smooth and timely month-end and year-end closing process.
• Coordinate and support the annual external audit process, including the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and related notes.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash requirements to ensure sufficient liquidity and support the company’s financing needs.
• Conduct financial and expense variance analysis and provide recommendations to management to improve cost control and financial performance.
• Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and other accounting and finance-related projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong experience in month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
• Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and tax compliance.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, logical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
