Finance & Accounting Section Head

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the Accounting Team to ensure accounting activities are performed accurately and timely
• Review monthly closing activities and ensure all closing issues are resolved before financial reporting
• Review journal entries and accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
• Review AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Review financial statements and supporting accounting records for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor the monthly closing schedule and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
• Review and monitor intercompany transactions and related reconciliations
• Coordinate with the Tax Officer for tax reconciliation and accounting-related tax matters
• Prepare and review costing reports, production costs, and abnormal production cost analysis
• Maintain and monitor effective internal controls within accounting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance & Accounting
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting position
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, monthly closing, financial reporting, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Understanding of cost accounting and production costing
• Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and internal control
• Experience in audit preparation and follow-up
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as SAP
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
