FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily accounting and finance activities across the company and its branches.
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
• Monitor subscriber billing and collection transactions and coordinate with concerned departments regarding discrepancies and adjustments.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
• Monitor daily cash position, bank transactions, cash disbursements, and fund releases.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor branch cash advances, liquidations, and financial transactions.
• Oversee the proper recording and monitoring of company assets, equipment, inventory, and other financial resources.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company's annual budget and operating expenses.
• Monitor expenses and identify variances against approved budgets.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of BIR, SEC, and other government financial reports and requirements.
• Review tax computations and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and government agencies as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation, authorization, and recording of financial transactions.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Finance and Accounting Staff.
• Coordinate with HR, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, and other departments on financial and accounting matters.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management to support business decisions.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper safekeeping of financial records and company information.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably with supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards, BIR regulations, taxation, and financial reporting
• Experience in billing, collections, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and general accounting
• Experience handling multiple branches, business units, or companies is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to handle confidential financial information with integrity
