Finance & Accounting Supervisor

PT Thai Union Kharisma Lestari is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance & Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Lamongan, East Java, on a 6-month contract basis as a temporary replacement during maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, proper accounting processes, and compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily finance and accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
2. Prepare and review monthly financial reports and ensure accurate and timely month-end closing.
3. Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
4. Perform account reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of financial records.
5. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
6. Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other relevant external parties.
7. Support tax and statutory compliance and ensure required financial documentation is properly maintained.
8. Supervise and coordinate the Finance & Accounting team to ensure smooth and effective daily operations.

Qualifications

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably with experience in a supervisory role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, month-end closing, and account reconciliation.
4. Good understanding of Indonesian taxation and financial compliance.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
7. Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
8. Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly to an existing Finance & Accounting operation.
9. Willing to work under a 6-month contract as maternity leave replacement.
10. Willing to be placed in Lamongan, East Java.
