Finance & Admin Executive

About the role

Finance & Administrative Executive, you will be the operational backbone of our Penang division. You will work independently while staying highly connected to the regional team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fundamental day-to-day financial operations, maintaining impeccable accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and collaborate closely with our appointed external accounting firm in Penang.
• Coordinate occasional in-person visits to the external accounting office to facilitate document alignment and operational support.
• Execute general administrative workflows and support basic Human Resources functions to ensure smooth local business scaling.
• Ensure all daily financial tasks, administrative duties, and monthly reporting deadlines are delivered efficiently and accurately.

Job Recruitment

• Must be residing in Penang, Malaysia, to facilitate seamless communication and attend occasional in-person meetings with the company.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a highly relevant discipline.

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with hands-on full set accounting experience will have a distinct advantage.

• familiarity with standard accounting software widely used in the Malaysian market (e.g., AutoCount, SQL Account, Sage UBS) and intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

• Required to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts at the headquarters and local stakeholders for seamless operational alignment and reporting. Professional proficiency in English is also essential.
