Finance & Administration Manager

About the Company
Our client is a well-established Australian business with a national footprint and continued growth across its operations. With a collaborative culture and an ongoing focus on improving systems and processes, they are seeking an experienced Finance & Administration Manager to join their team.

The Role
Reporting to the CFO, this is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, with a particular focus on AR, billing systems and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the AR and AP functions, including team performance and development
• Overseeing aged debt, collections, customer accounts and credit management
• Ensuring effective AP processes, payments, reconciliations and supplier management
• Taking ownership of billing systems from a Finance perspective
• Supporting billing, pricing and system changes through testing, implementation and validation
• Managing complex customer, supplier and billing escalations
• Strengthening financial controls, processes and reporting
• Partnering with stakeholders across the broader business to drive improvements and efficiencies

About You
Ideally, you bring:

• Previous experience leading AR, AP or broader finance administration functions
• Strong AR and credit management experience within a high-volume environment
• Demonstrated people leadership and team management capability
• Exposure to billing or financial systems, including system or process improvements
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Confidence partnering with stakeholders across Finance and broader business functions
• Experience within a subscription-based or high-volume billing environment would be advantageous
