Finance and BOI Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Cash Flow, Treasury & Banking Management: Prepare, monitor, and update rolling cash flow forecasts and related budgeting projections to maintain optimal corporate liquidity.
• Manage daily banking operations, corporate banking activities, foreign exchange (FX) transactions and hedging, bank guarantees, and relationships with financial institutions.
• Ensure strong internal controls and effective treasury management to support business operations and financial stability.
• Payments, Receivables & Financial Controls: Oversee, verify, and approve local and overseas supplier payments, follow up customer receivables, and ensure compliance with credit terms, corporate policies, banking procedures, and monthly deadlines. Manage petty cash, maintain accurate financial records, and enforce robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Accounting & Financial Reporting: Support accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting and closings. Review accounting records, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements where applicable to ensure compliance with Thai GAAP, local statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Lead the preparation, documentation, and submission of applications for new BOI projects related to factory expansion, alongside optimizing existing BOI privileges for raw materials and machinery.
• Manage Max Stock approvals, formula registrations, and the cutting of accounts via Expert systems to ensure zero non-compliance risks.
• Own the processes surrounding shipping documentation (invoices, packing list, bill of lading, etc.) regulatory compliance, and customs clearance processes, ensuring full resolution of duty/tax-related issues and duty drawbacks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the BOI, IEAT (Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand), Customs Department, and Ministry of Commerce, ensuring full readiness for external audits.
• Support related tax compliance activities, including VAT returns, withholding tax filings, annual corporate income tax requirements, VAT refund applications, and BOI-related tax privileges.
• Must stay updated on the latest Thai Customs, IEAT, and BOI regulatory changes.
• Occasional visits to the BOI office or banks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting (strongly preferred to ensure robust bookkeeping control) or Finance with a solid accounting background.
• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Treasury roles, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven, hands-on experience directly managing BOI applications, formula expansions, and complex import/export customs procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Financial Modeling).
• Strong working knowledge of government systems: BOI RMTS, e-Expert, and NSW (National Single Window).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is highly preferred.
