Xpress is a Philippines-based mobility and transport platform operating ride-hailing, EV/hybrid taxis, corporate transport, and concierge services. We are scaling commercially — growing our corporate client base, preparing for investment conversations, and building the financial reporting infrastructure that a serious transport company needs. This role sits at the intersection of finance and data.

Why This Role Exists

The company has operational data and it has financial data, but they do not always speak to each other. We need someone who can connect a trip in the database to a line on the P&L — and do it at the zone, product, and account level. This role makes our unit economics visible and our financial reporting credible for investors, board members, and corporate partners.

What You Will Own

• Unit Economics — Calculate and maintain revenue per completed trip, cost per trip (including promotional subsidies), and gross margin by product line (rideshare, taxi, motorcycle, concierge, corporate). Make this a live, queryable view — not a quarterly exercise
• Commission & Promo Impact Modeling — Model the financial impact of commission structure changes, promotional campaigns, and pricing adjustments. Help leadership understand what levers actually move margin
• Investor & Board Reporting — Build and maintain the monthly data package for board and investor reporting: key metrics, financial summaries, growth trends, and unit economics. The standard must be high enough for a bank or investor to trust without follow-up questions
• Corporate Account Analytics — Track utilization, trip volumes, SLA compliance, and revenue per account for corporate transport clients (Xpress for Business). Support the enterprise sales team with account performance data
• Financial Reconciliation Support — Work with the Finance Manager to reconcile operational data (trips, fares, commissions) with accounting records. Identify discrepancies and help close the gap between what the app says happened and what the books say happened

What We Are Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis — ideally in a technology, marketplace, or transport company
• Strong SQL skills — you should be comfortable building queries that join operational and financial data
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling
• Understanding of basic financial concepts: revenue recognition, unit economics, gross margin, contribution margin
• Experience creating reports or dashboards for executive or investor audiences
• Precision and attention to detail — financial reporting cannot have errors

Nice to Have

• Background in accounting, finance, or economics (degree or work experience)
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Experience with a BI/visualization tool (Metabase, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with investor reporting, fundraising metrics, or board deck preparation
• Experience in a two-sided marketplace or transport/logistics business

What You Should Know

This role will be hired after the first three analytics positions are in place and producing. You will join an established (if small) data team with standards, dashboards, and infrastructure already running. Your focus is making the financial picture as clear and trustworthy as the operational picture. If you are the kind of person who gets satisfaction from a number that ties perfectly — and frustration from one that does not — you will do well here.
