JOB VACANCY — FINANCE & COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
Child Protection and Women Empowerment Initiative (CPWEI) is recruiting for the position of:
Position: Finance & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Damaturu, Yobe State, with oversight of the Maiduguri office
Contract: Full-Time, Senior Management
Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)
Availability: Immediate

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within an NGO or similar organization
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft 365
Understanding of donor regulations such as UN agencies, USAID, EU, and FCDO is desirable
Strong financial analysis, reporting, internal control and risk management skills
Knowledge of Nigerian statutory deductions and NGO reporting procedures
Fluency in English, Hausa, or other local languages
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate financial operations and compliance systems
Monitor budgets, expenditures and financial reports
Maintain financial records and reconcile accounts
Ensure compliance with donor and statutory requirements
Coordinate internal, external and donor audits
Supervise Finance and Procurement/Logistics staff
Support proposal budgeting and donor financial reporting
