Finance & HR Manager

About the role

Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts and HR functions. Oversee full set of accounts, cash flow, financial reporting, budgeting, recruitment, payroll, training, performance management, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function
• Oversee full set of accounts, cash flow, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Prepare financial forecasts, management reports, and budget analysis
• Monitor company profitability, costing, expenses, and financial performance
• Manage AP, AR, borrowings, and cash flow
• Lead and manage the HR function
• Oversee recruitment, payroll, training, performance management, and employee relations
• Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs in compliance with Malaysian labour laws
• Manage employee discipline, grievances, and conflict resolution
• Drive employee engagement and a positive workplace culture

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant managerial experience in Finance and HR
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, costing, taxation, and financial reporting
• Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Able to handle confidential information responsibly
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MIA is an added advantage
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
