  • Manage U.S. tax compliance and audits by working closely with outside CPA firms, auditors, banks, and insurance providers.
  • Build and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and approval processes to protect company assets
  1. HQ Reporting & Consolidation
  • Prepare and deliver consolidation reporting packages to the Korea headquarters, including U.S. GAAP to K-IFRS adjustments, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting schedules, based on HQ deadlines.
  • Act as the daily point of contact for the HQ finance team, responding quickly to requests and communicating clearly in both Korean and English.
  • Support HQ’s external audit, internal control reviews, and listed-company disclosure needs with timely and accurate data.
  • Coordinate intercompany transactions, transfer pricing documentation, and fund transfers between HCT America and HQ
  1. Team Leadership & General Oversight
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate the Admin Team, including HR and facility staff, by setting clear goals and priorities and supporting their growth.
  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance with California and federal employment laws, working closely with the HR team.
  • Review and approve payroll, benefits costs, and HR-related spending, and make sure they are recorded correctly.
  • Oversee facility operations, including the office and building lease, maintenance, vendor contracts, and workplace safety programs.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management
