About the role

We are seeking a Finance and Treasury Manager to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in the financial operations and treasury management of OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc. The Finance and Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing our financial accounting, reporting, and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations whilst optimising cash flow and financial performance. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial health and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and working capital optimisation
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly and annual financial periods
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
• Prepare financial analyses, variance reports, and management accounts to support business decision-making
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and tax compliance activities
• Oversee the budget planning process and monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts
• Manage short-term and long-term financing arrangements and debt obligations
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure competitive rates and optimal financial arrangements
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all financial reporting obligations and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, treasury management, or a similar finance role within a corporate or consulting environment
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; experience with financial management systems is essential
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (IFRS or GAAP), and treasury management best practices
• Demonstrated expertise in cash flow management, banking relationships, and financial planning and analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present financial information to senior management
• Proven leadership capability with experience supervising and developing finance team members
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
