Finance Assistant – Job Scope

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily finance and accounting operations of the company.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.

• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.

• Perform accounting data entry and maintain proper and accurate records.

• Assist with bank reconciliation and other account reconciliations.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

• Assist in processing supplier payments and staff claims.

• Assist in maintaining inventory and costing records, including stock-related transactions.

• Assist in preparing documents and information for audit and tax purposes.

• Assist with e-Invoice, SST and other statutory compliance matters when required.

• Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment documents and other finance-related records.

• Liaise with suppliers, customers, banks and other departments regarding finance-related matters.

• Perform other ad-hoc finance and accounting duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
