Finance Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices, bills, purchase orders, and other day-to-day accounting documents.
• Perform data entry into the accounting system with speed and precision.
• Reconcile accounts, and transactions to maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
• Assist with the compilation of data for financial reports, basic analysis, and monthly closing procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve routine documentation discrepancies and ensure efficient financial workflows.
• Provide administrative support to the senior accounting team, including digital filing and document archiving.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior internship or 1 year of experience in a finance/data entry role is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically skilled in using VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables to manage data.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to work accurately with large volumes of numbers.
• Proficient in using accounting software, with hands-on experience or exposure to QuickBooks being a distinct advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the finance team.
• Adaptability and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to meet tight monthly closing deadlines.
• Immediate availability to commit fully to the 6-month contract duration.
