FINANCE ASSISTANT 财务助理

What you'll be doing

• Processing and recording financial transactions in the accounting system with accuracy and timeliness
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
• Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers on a monthly basis
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment coordination
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Assisting with the preparation of journal entries and ensuring proper coding of transactions
• Supporting audits and providing documentation as required
• Performing general administrative duties related to the finance department
• Liaising with other departments to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary financial information

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (SPM, Diploma or bachelor's degree)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Reliability and integrity when handling confidential financial information
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous
• Familiarity with financial reporting requirements and compliance standards is preferred
• Proficiency in read and comprehend Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
