Finance Assistant

Frederic Smart and Son Ltd is one of the longest established grain and seed merchants in East Anglia. Our sister company, Frederic Smart Logistics Ltd is a growing Warehousing and Distribution service provider with sites in Papworth Everard, Peterborough and Warrington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to work within our small team based in Papworth Everard. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and also liaise with the Logistics and Grain Trading teams. The role entails flexible part-time hours, ideally 4 or 6 hours per day, 2 days per week. In total, the role is for up to 12 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Inputting and preparing grain transactions and invoices.
• Data entry of invoices to the Accounts system (iplicit).
• Scanning, filling and indexing documents.
• Processing email correspondence.
• Manual record keeping.
• Working with Excel and Accounting software.
• Further ad hoc administrative duties within the department.

Pay: £13.85 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 12.0 per week
