Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant | Otley | £30,000

I’m working with an established and growing property business in Otley who are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or Credit Control who wants to develop their finance career within the property sector.

You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on tenant accounts. Responsibilities will include raising monthly invoices, credit control, chasing outstanding payments, allocating receipts, account reconciliations, processing utility recharges and dealing with tenant queries.

You’ll also assist with month-end accounts receivable processes, maintain accurate financial records and work closely with the wider team to resolve any invoice or payment queries.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar finance role
• Is organised, proactive and has excellent attention to detail
• Is confident communicating with customers, tenants and internal teams
• Has good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Can manage their workload and meet deadlines
• Property experience would be a real advantage

Experience with Xero, Release, tenant accounts, service charges or property-related invoicing would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

£30,000 | 37.5 hours | Otley | Office-based | Free on-site parking
