The Role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day running of the accounts function. This is a full-time role based at our Inverness office, with scope for flexible working arrangements after an initial induction phase.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices accurately and on time.
• Carry out bank account reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.
• Maintain accurate Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) records.
• Assist with VAT returns, year-end accounts and management accounts as required.

About You

Essential experience:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.

Desirable:

• Experience within the construction or M&E sector.
• Knowledge of CIS and VAT processes.
• Experience on Xero or similar accounting software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
