Finance Assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and assist in ensuring the timely assessment, payment, and compliance with RPT obligations for the Company's properties.
• Prepare, process, and maintain documentation relating to RPT assessments, payments, tax declarations, property records, and other related requirements.
• Coordinate with LGUs, Assessors' Offices, Treasurers' Offices, and other government agencies regarding RPT assessments, payments, property records, and related concerns.
• Review and validate RPT assessments, tax declarations, and related charges, and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies or reassessment concerns.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of tax declarations, land titles, property assessments, official receipts, tax payments, and other RPT-related documents.
• Assist in processing RPT tax clearances, certifications, exemptions, discounts, and other applicable LGU requirements.
• Monitor RPT deadlines and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting schedules to ensure timely compliance across the Company's properties.
• Assist in the preparation of RPT reports, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents for management reporting, audits, and LGU requirements.
• Assist in monitoring and availing of applicable RPT discounts, exemptions, incentives, and other benefits granted by LGUs.
• Perform other RPT-related projects and compliance activities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, Business Administration, Taxation, or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
• With experience in taxation, accounting, real estate administration, or property tax compliance is preferred.
• Amenable to work on site at Pasay City, from Monday to Friday.
