Finance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day accounting functions of our Malaysia entities.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and journal entries.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, official receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with customer payment follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate and well-organised accounting records using SQL Accounting and Google Drive.
• Assist with expense checking, transaction processing, and account reconciliations.
• Support the Finance Manager and accounting-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SQL Accounting System is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, organised, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
