Finance Assistant Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, managing the month-end closing process, preparing managerial reporting, and supporting annual budgeting and forecasting. As a bridge between senior management and financial operational teams, you will supervise junior staff, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive operational efficiency across financial processes.

Your tasks

• Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
• Oversee and streamline month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Review and consolidate group financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
• Ensure all accounting entries, financial reporting, and records comply with statutory regulations, local GAAP, and IFRS.
• Financial Analysis & Budgeting
• Assist the Finance Director in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Conduct detailed financial performance and operational variance analysis to support business decision-making.
• Monitor business cash flow, working capital, and operational KPIs.
• Operational & Team Leadership
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting/finance staff, managing daily workflow and performance.
• Optimize and standardize finance policies, internal controls, and operational workflows.
• Support cross-functional projects, internal/external audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Stakeholder & Compliance Management
• Serve as the primary liaison for external parties, including auditors, tax authorities, banks, and advisors.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, tax laws, and internal control frameworks.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior specialist role.
• Prior experience in Big 4 audit firms combined with commercial in-house experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS / GAAP) and tax regulations.
• Hands-on proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across departments.
• Fluency in professional written and spoken English.
