Finance Assistant Manager / Manager (Group)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are a regional chemical distribution company serving a wide range of industrial customers across Asia. We are seeking a Group Finance professional to lead Group-level financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role focuses on business partnering, financial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes at Group level.
• Perform monthly variance analysis (Budget vs Actual), identify key drivers and monitor action plans with BU heads.
• Prepare Group management reporting and performance dashboards for leadership review.
• Monitor operating profit, margin trends, and working capital performance.
• Drive financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business initiatives.
• Partner with Business Unit heads to track KPI performance and improve financial discipline.
• Support Group Management in strategic planning and investment evaluation.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by Group Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA) is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or regional finance roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate financial data into business insights.
• Good stakeholder management skills with exposure to working with business heads.
