Finance Associate

About the role

Community Creators, Inc. is seeking a Finance Associate to join our growing finance team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our financial accounting and reporting functions. As a Finance Associate, you will contribute to the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, maintenance of accounting records, and support for various financial reporting requirements. This role is integral to ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Can be assigned at Accounting/ Loans / Collections or Administrative
• Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
• Assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and trial balances
• Supporting the compilation and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment verification
• Maintaining accurate and organised financial documentation and records
• Preparing financial reports and schedules for management and external stakeholders
• Assisting with audit preparation by gathering and organising required documentation
• Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control procedures
• Collaborating with other finance team members and departments to ensure accurate financial information

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including strong spreadsheet analysis skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting concepts

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment

• Professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality regarding financial information

• Preferably, one to three years of experience in a financial accounting or general accounting role
