Finance Associate

Who you are

• 1-4 years' experience in finance, accounting or another analytical role
• Studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Experience in practice or a fast-growing business
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Exposure to month-end, management reporting or reconciliations
• Naturally organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience improving finance processes or reporting
• Curious and enjoys understanding the "why" behind the numbers
• Experience using accounting systems alongside Excel
• Comfortable solving problems and improving the way things work
• Takes ownership and follows things through to completion
• Confident communicating with people across different teams
• Excited by working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
• Happy working from our Westbourne Grove office five days a week

What the job involves

• You'll work closely with our Finance Director to help keep the finance function running smoothly while improving the systems, reporting and processes that support the wider business
• This is a broad role where no two days are the same. One day you might be supporting month-end reporting, the next investigating an operational issue, improving a finance process or helping another team answer an important commercial question
• You'll spend your time:
• Supporting month-end close and management reporting
• Owning reconciliations across multiple systems
• Working with our external accounting partners and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with cash flow reporting and maintaining strong financial controls
• Improving finance processes, reporting tools and dashboards
• Investigating financial and operational questions and turning data into clear, practical recommendations
• Supporting projects that help the business scale more effectively
• Partnering with teams across Operations, Growth, Customer Experience and Technology to improve decision-making and solve business problems
• As the business grows, so will the role. You'll get broad exposure to how a fast-growing consumer business operates and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you develop
