Finance Associate

About the role

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing the retail account closure process, providing timely updates and guidance. Coordinate with internal departments, including the Dealing Desk, Finance, and Operations teams, to ensure a seamless and accurate account closure process.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with external brokers for share transfers and coordinate with transfer agents for the upliftment of shares as part of the account closure requirements
• Verify client signatures and documentation to ensure all closure requests comply with established regulatory and internal procedures
• Monitor the progress of account closures from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards
• Perform Finance and Operations functions, including preparation of invoice, settlements of trades (payment/collections and delivery/receipt of shares)
