Finance Associate

About the role

A Finance Associate role responsible for finance clerical duties, financial monitoring, cash management, treasury operations, and collection activities. The role involves coordinating funding priorities, maintaining bank relationships, monitoring projects, managing collection of project fees and VAT obligations, handling customer and partner inquiries, assisting in fund disbursement, and identifying and monitoring finance-related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all finance clerical duties
• Monitor financial position and cash requirements
• Coordinate funding and priorities
• Manage daily cash position and bank relationships
• Support treasury and project monitoring activities
• Monitor collections and manage project fee and VAT obligation collection
• Handle customer and partner relation inquiries
• Assist in disbursement of funds
• Support identification and monitoring of finance-related risks
• Perform other related finance works as required

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals may be considered)
• Working knowledge of BIR forms, VAT, and withholding tax filing
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Trustworthy and dependable with ability to handle confidential financial information
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
